Techno Mood

This week the singer/songwriter/musician known as Moby put out a new CD called Last Night. This CD is his first studio material since 2005. Besides working on this new CD Moby has put out some compilation/remix CDs and worked on some movie soundtracks.
Moby(Richard Melville Hall) has been making music since the early nineties. His sound is best defined as electronic and techno, but some songs are definitely more mainstream. Moby has also been a DJ for many years and this influences his style greatly.
Moby is an interesting and talented artist but as the title of this post says, you have to be in the techno mood. To learn more about Moby and watch some videos, please go to this link or following this link for more Moby videos on Youtube.
Update: One of my readers pointed out to me that Richard Melville Hall is a descendant of Herman Melville. A great-great uncle or something like that. Mr H. Melville is the author of Moby Dick, hence the nickname and stage name of Moby.
Did you know….
That Richard Melville Hall, aka Moby is a direct descendant (Grandson) of Herman Melville, the author of Moby Dick.
Hence the stage name Moby.
